Enis
Volunteer
Currently a sophomore at Cherry Hill East High School, Enis loves anything history and is open to offers to teach college level courses :) Joke aside, he is the Vice President of Cherry Hill East History Club and enjoys historical wargaming as a hobby. He also loves to read and write stories, poems and short essays in his free time. To this end, he writes regularly for New Jersey's #1 student newspaper, Eastside, as part of his journalism club activities. Enis enjoys track running and volleyball. He plays the violin and is part of the Cherry Hill East Orchestra. As a bilingual person with educator immigrant parents and international experiences, Enis likes to raise awareness of human rights issues and social causes. He has volunteered to help open water wells in Kenya and supported other relief activities, joined interfaith dialogue events, and is a part of Amnesty International’s branch in his school as well as a member of Red Cross Club. He has regularly contributed to weekend schools and summer camps organized for immigrant children and youth as an assistant teacher.
