Hi! My name is Sabriye and I am a junior at Cherry Hill High School East. I speak both Turkish and English and outside of IYELA, I throw javelin for my high school’s track and field time. I am also founder and co-president of my school's American Red Cross Club. I also co-founded Young English Language Learners (YELL) at my school, a club designed to create a comfortable environment for ESL students to help them practice English and provide them tutoring opportunities. In my free time, I like to play volleyball and spend time with my family.
